Special Projects

This office performs a variety of administrative and professional work in the development and implementation of community projects, plans, programs and services. This department is responsible for project management, and contract administration for capital improvement projects which includes bid preparation, proposals and specification for the purchase of goods and/or services. Negotiating and coordinating for professional services for the town.

Risk Management, which includes assessing risk for the town and managing the town’s insurance coverage, on going management of the Community Rating System for flood insurance, searching and applying for grant opportunities for the Town, and planning for emergency management by working closely with other agencies including the County and surrounding municipalities.
