EFFECTIVE JANUARY 24th:
ORDINANCE NO. 781 was approved by the Town Council on January 24th, 2024.
Section 6-111. Demolition permits.
Each application for a complete or major demolition permit shall be subject to the following standards and conditions:
(a) Existing native vegetation shall be preserved on site to the maximum extent practicable.
(b) An erosion control plan, parking plan, construction screening plan, and truck logistics plan shall be submitted with the permit application.
(c) The property owner shall submit an affidavit, in a format prescribed by the town, confirming that notice has been provided to the owners of all properties located within three hundred (300) feet of the property on which the demolition will occur at least thirty (30) days and no more than thirty (30) days prior to any demolition activities.
(d) If construction does not commence within thirty (30) days after the demolition or a permit for reconstruction expires or otherwise becomes null and void, the property owner shall sod and irrigate the property within ten (10) business days to assure that the property will have a neat and clean landscaped appearance and will not be deemed a nuisance.

NOTICE: Prior to submitting a permit application, any major renovation and/or new residential construction REQUIRES an Architectural Review Board (ARB) Pre-Application meeting with the Planning & Zoning Department followed by a submittal of an ARB application.
*Major renovations are projects that exceed 50% of improvement value of the structure.

This release is a new version brought to you by the same software provider as before, MyGovernmentOnline (MGO). MGO Connect brings an all-new customer portal experience based on suggested improvements and feedback that contractors and residents have provided. Simply visit www.mgoconnect.org and login with the same e-mail address and password that you previously used with the MyGovernmentOnline customer portal.
The Town wants to encourage all contractors, residents, and other users of the customer portal to consider trying out the new MGO Connect customer portal at your earliest convenience. We are certain you will appreciate and eventually prefer to use the new MGO Connect customer portal. The new customer portal offers the same features and services you’re accustomed to, only now with a more intuitive and modern user interface.

Starting October 1, 2023, the Town of Juno Beach will be accepting digital submission of Permits through the mgoconnect.org portal.

- All Juno Beach Building Permit Applications (Main Contractor) must include subcontractors and all estimated job costs should include subs as well. (Please note: Palm Beach County Universal Permit Application Forms are Not Accepted.)
- Subcontractors (No Fee Permits) must fill out right side of Juno Beach Building Permit Application with notarized signatures.
- All inspections will be scheduled through https://mgoconnect.org
- Affidavit for Final Cost of Construction must be submitted at the end of the project. (The Certificate of Completion or Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued without a Final Cost of Construction Affidavit.)

The Building Department is responsible for all permitting efforts in the Town. The Building Department provides records, issues permits, and performs building inspections. A major focus of the division is to ensure that commercial and residential buildings and structures comply with the Florida Building Code (FBC) and all other applicable laws and ordinances.
