How do I schedule an inspection?

All inspections must be scheduled online through the My Government Online portal.   Click here to access the My Government Online portal

Note: you must be registered with the website in order to request an inspection.

If you are having technical difficulties with the portal, please contact their support team at  1-866-957-3764

I have a scheduled inspection for today, but I don't know at what time. How do I find that information?

Our inspectors have multiple inspections to complete each day, and it can be unpredictable how long each of them will take. For that reason, they can only offer a 2 hour window timeframe for when an inspection will take place (between 10am and 4pm).

To find out your 2 hour window, please contact your inspector directly, after you've been assigned one. To view our inspectors contact information, click here.

Do I have to wear my seatbelt?

The Florida Safety Belt Law states that if you are operating a motor vehicle you must be restrained by a safety belt. Each passenger under the age of 18 must be restrained by a safety belt or child restraint belt.

Is there a waiting period before I can report someone missing?

Contrary to popular belief there is no 24-hour rule to report someone missing. If you know about a child who is lost, contact us for assistance immediately. If you feel as though there is foul play, let us know that as well. While waiting for us to arrive, immediately check the areas that pose the greatest hazard to the child (i.e.: pool, lake, street. etc.) Try to remain calm and focused on your objective. We will be there to assist you with as many resources as possible with the greatest priority.

If an adult is missing there is a different protocol. It is not illegal for an adult to be missing in and of itself. There must be some outside circumstance for us to aid in the investigation. For instance, if there is any indication of foul play, we will take the case. If the adult is believed to be endangered (i.e.: suicidal, on medication and without access to it, mentally incapacitated to some degree) then we will assist in locating the person and they will meet the criterion to be entered into the state and national computer systems as missing/endangered.

If you received a Town Ordinance Violation/Parking Citation issued by the Town of Juno Beach, you may pay the fine in person by bringing in the ticket into the Town of Juno Beach anytime between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. OR by mail, in the payment of cash, check or money order to the Town.

I have had several phone calls from people representing themselves as police officers and asking for donations. Are these police officers and what is the money used for?

Town of Juno Beach police officers do not solicit money for the department. Police officers never make solicitations over the telephone. There are some law enforcement-related agencies such as the Fraternal Order of Police and the Police Benevolent Association that solicit donations, but they are not police officers nor does the money directly benefit local law enforcement. However, some of the money does help support the sponsorship of legislation concerning law enforcement.

If the organization is legitimate, they will give you this information and then you can decide whether you want to make a donation. It's also a good idea to ask for a financial statement or budget before making a decision about whether to donate to the organization.
